RCR launches replacement parts cover for retainer membership
Breakdown services River Canal Rescue is extending its Replacement Parts Cover to boaters who only have Retainer membership, for an additional £65 a year.
Already included as standard with RCR’s Bronze, Silver and Gold memberships, the cover is for up to £1,000 of replacement parts following sudden, unforeseen mechanical breakdowns.
In 2025 RCR attended 2,057 general call-outs. It says the top ten main replacement parts involved were fuel filters, cables, batteries, alternators, starter motors, gearboxes, fan belts, drive plates and fuel and injection pumps. In total, its Replacement Parts Cover…
